Use product packaging. The yellow wood grain background on this layout is packaging from Studio Calico’s die cut letters.
Go negative. The negative arrows are from die cuts I did on my Cricut and the hearts were misted using the negative from an Imagination Projects Coaster (from 2006!). The small hearts were painted on using a negative from a sticker sheet and I used baby powder on the back to take away the stickiness.
Be a star. The stars on the layout were punched from a small gift bag I received when I bought hair product from a salon. I used small pieces of cardboard to pop up some of the stars.
Supplies: kraft cardstock (American Craft), washi tape (SpiegelMom Scraps! Etsy Shop), cardboard, die cut scraps, die cut letter packaging (Studio Calico), people wood veneers (Studio Calico), white spray ink (Mr. Huey’s), alphabet stickers/chipboard (Mr. Huey’s), yellow acrylic paint, gift bag, two photos. Layout is 12 x 12″.
